Terms of Use

Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use apply when you visit cedarandmercy.com or use its content, forms, shop, or Support the Mission page. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Cedar & Mercy Records is an independent Christian record label and media company in the United States. We are a for-profit business, not a nonprofit, church, or charity.

Our Content

The recordings, lyrics, artwork, video, text, and other content on this site are owned by or licensed to Cedar & Mercy Records. Bible text on this site is from the King James Version, which is in the public domain in the United States, and the limits below do not apply to it. We welcome personal listening and the sharing of links to our official pages and releases.

Unless we give you written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, republish, sell, license, synchronize, sample, modify, or create derivative works from our content. You also may not use our content to train, fine-tune, test, or prompt an artificial intelligence system.

For uses that may require permission, please see our Music Licensing page.

User Submissions

You may send us prayer requests and contact messages. You keep any rights you have in the material you submit. You give us only the limited permission needed to handle it as described here and in our Privacy Policy, and nothing more.

For a prayer request, that permission allows us to store the request in our own database and let our team read it. We may publish it only if you checked the box allowing us to share it and a person on our team reviewed and approved it. If approved for publication, we may edit it for length or remove identifying details. We never publish prayer requests automatically.

For a contact message, the permission allows us to receive, store, review, and respond to the message. Submitting a prayer request or message does not give us permission to use it for another purpose.

Please do not submit material that violates another person’s rights or any law.

Support Payments

Payments made through Support the Mission are voluntary payments to a for-profit business. They are not charitable contributions and are not tax deductible. The Returns and Refunds page explains how we handle mistakes, refund requests, and cancellation of monthly support.

Third-Party Links and Services

The site may link to or use services provided by third parties, including streaming services, YouTube, Stripe, Cloudflare, GoHighLevel, Printify, and Printify’s print providers. A link does not mean that we control or endorse the third party. Your use of a third-party site or service is governed by that party’s own terms and policies.

Copyright Notices

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe something on our site infringes your copyright, tell us through our contact page. Name the work, where it appears on our site, and how to reach you. We will review it and remove it if it infringes.

No Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we provide the site and its content on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or free of errors. Some laws may not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cedar & Mercy Records and the people who work with us will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your rights may vary by state.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms as our site, services, or legal obligations change. The date in the page information above shows when the terms were updated. Your continued use of the site after revised terms take effect means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Questions

If you have questions about these terms, please reach us through the contact page.
