Cedar & Mercy Records does not set cookies on cedarandmercy.com today. We do not use advertising trackers or Google Analytics.

First-Party Measurement and Device Storage

We run our own cookie-free, first-party measurement. It records page views and actions such as music plays and streaming-link clicks, along with the page, referring site or campaign tag, and a one-way visitor code that changes daily, cannot be turned back into an IP address, and is not an IP address we store.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also measures page visits and loading speed for us with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare states that this service does not use cookies or other storage on your device and does not track people across sites.

Your browser also keeps your shopping cart in local storage and the first page visited during the current session in local or session storage. This on-device storage is not a cookie and is not sent anywhere except as described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services may set their own cookies when you choose to use them:

• YouTube may do so only after you press play on a privacy-enhanced embedded video;
• Stripe may do so when you proceed to checkout; and
• Cloudflare may do so when a form uses its Turnstile bot check.

Those services control their own cookies and related practices.

Changes

We will update this notice before we change our own use of cookies or add Google Analytics. We will also update our Privacy Policy and provide any cookie choices required by law before the change takes effect.
