Tin Roof Testimony

Tin Roof Testimony sings plain-spoken Christian country about men finding their way back. The songs sit in ordinary places, a church basement, a mother's driveway at two in the morning, a creek in October, and show what grace looks like there: a ninety-day chip, a porch light left on, a name written in a father's Bible. The sound is stomp-and-clap acoustic country with fiddle, steel and a full-band lift.

Tin Roof Testimony is a studio project of Cedar & Mercy Records, not a touring act. The voices you hear are generated with AI; there is no singer or band behind the name. The lyrics are drafted with AI tools and reviewed and approved by a person, and every song is chosen by a person before it is released.

    Left the Light On

A man comes home at two in the morning after four years gone and sits in his truck in his mama's driveway, working out what to say, but she has left the porch light on every night, and all she asks is whether he is hungry.

  • Out

    Saturday Dad

A man who can hang a door and back a trailer through a gate cannot get his daughter's braid straight, so she shows him once more before her mama's car pulls in at six, he practices on three strings nailed to his bench at work, and she wears it crooked into town.

  • Out

    Ninety Days

A man three months sober is called up in a church basement for his ninety-day chip, Joe says a bad penny always turns up, the room claps, and he goes home, makes a sandwich and tastes every bite.

  • Out

    Call My Brother

A man sits in his truck behind the hardware store with his phone in his hand, rehearsing an apology to the older brother whose tools he pawned six years ago, his number still saved under Bub, and the song ends with the phone ringing.

  • Out

    Daddy's Bible

After his father's funeral a man is given the old man's Bible in a grocery sack and finds his own name in it in blue ink, a date beside it row after row, the last one nine days before his father died, when the son was six months sober.
